Core Responsibilities: EBP Audit and Documentation
As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for leading testing procedures, preparing core documentation, and reviewing the work of junior staff:
- Internal Controls: Obtain and thoroughly document a basic understanding of clients’ internal control policies and procedures and rigorously test their operating effectiveness.
- Audit Testing: Complete audit work papers and perform audit testing procedures on fundamental financial statement areas.
- Financial Statement Support: Assist the manager in preparing financial statements, including required footnotes and supplemental schedules.
- Planning & Execution: Help develop audit plans and audit work paper templates (in coordination with the audit manager).
- Review & Mentorship: Review audit work papers completed by staff prior to submission to the audit manager.
- Troubleshooting: Help troubleshoot potential exceptions during fieldwork testing by obtaining additional documentation and clarification.
